This is a long awaited post!!!!

Mother and babies are doing well! Brian and Sarah were blessed with a girl and a boy today at 1:30 p.m.!!!!!! We did not get a chance to hold the babies today due to them being under a warmer. But we should did smudge up the glass in the nursery!! My camera did not take very good pictures through the glass, but good thing I remembered the video camera!!

One more day......

In one more day Mark and I will be an Aunt and Uncle for the first time. And Madiosn will have two little cousins! Sarah's c-section is set for tomorrow. We can finally meet the twins and find out if they are a boy and a girl, two boys, or two girls. I think it is one of each! I'm sooooo excited!! I can only imagine how Sarah and Brian are feeling right now!

I'm so glad they kept trying and never lost hope. These babies for sure are two little miracles!!! It has been a long hard four years for Sarah and Brian.

Those babies are going to have so much love!

I just can't wait to meet them!!

Wedding Bliss

Mark's brother Patrick got married last Saturday June 20th to Sarah Busalaki. It was great day!! Here are some pictures from the rehearsal dinner.

Mark's dad Steve gave Patrick one of his famous "Steve shirts". It's a cut off work shirt. I think the first five years of dating Mark, this was the only shirt I ever seen Steve in! Mark got one at our wedding reseral dinner as well. What a great memory!

We were watching the news coverage on Michael Jackson's death last night and the song "Beat It" came on. And Mark said, "Hey, I used to have a Michael Jackson t-shirt with Beat It on it!" The only photo we could find was his brother Patrick wearing it. It was such a good shirt it got passed down!

Just a swingin'

Madison enjoyed the little park by our house on Friday. They must have remodeled it over the winter or early spring, because it sure wasn't this nice last year!!

The swing was way too big for her, but she loved it.

On Saturday we headed up to Indy with the Hermann's to watch Ross Wolf play. He plays for the Norfolk Tides out of Virginia. We stayed with Mandy and Michael Bierman. It was a great time! They sure do know how to entertain!!!! Mark even said on Sunday as we were laying on the couch........"We can't do this like we used to!" He is right I have been dragging all week long!

Adam and Brook Wolf's little boys loved strolling Madison around. Mark said she already has the boys trained!!! It's weird to think they could possibly date some day!

Class of 2001! Thanks for a great time Mandy and Michael!! And Ross thanks for being such a "star" so we could come watch!!! And I about forgot.......Congrats to Ross and his wife Lynn! They are going to be parents in January!

It was a good day.....

Friday was a good day for two reasons. One, Madison's hair is finally long enough to hold a bow! And two, I finally made time to have a lesson on my new sewing/embroidery machine. I bought the machine at the beginning of May and have never used it. I am brand new at this and I'm very proud of the out come of the lesson. No more white head band for this girl!

I made a burp cloth for Madison.......I think she liked it!! So if anyone wants anything embroidered, let me know!! I will hopefully get pretty good so I can start to sell some items!

On Saturday the Newton girls and I threw a surprise wedding shower for our friend Stephanie Willis at my house. We had it out on the deck and enjoyed the perfect weather. Mark built the deck last year all by himself and I'm glad to see we are using it as much as we are!! Here is a picture of my beautiful table decor!!!!

Stephanie's mom Scherry joined us as well. It was great seeing her and catching up. She also took some great pictures of us all and of the babies! Hopefully I can post them soon!

Here are all three princesses, as Lindsey said on her blog (so true by the way), in their matching dresses I bought! First is Allie, Lindsey Hermann's daughter, Madison, and Larkin, Allison Hasler's daughter. Allie and Larkin are 12 days apart and Madison is 6 months older. I think it's great all my girl friends had girls! Who knows, they might have a great friendship like their mothers have with each other! Or maybe they will hate each other!!!! Only time will tell!

I hope you had a great time Steph!!!! I know I did! I feel like us Newton girls always pick up right where we left off. I would have to say......you looked and sounded like I have never seen or heard you before............truly happy!!! Jimmy is a lucky guy!

Swimming like a fish and red neck bandaids.....

On Tuesday night we took Madison to the YMCA for her first swimming lesson! She loved the water!! Mark even had the courage to dunk her a couple of times. I think he was a little nervous about it because on they way there he asked how aggressive the first lesson was. The teacher surprisingly got right to it. Mark had her splashing, laying on her back, or almost, and "swimming" to her rubber ducky! She didn't cry at all, and was way too occupied for her pink paci!

This is a funny story...........about a week ago I was feeding Madison and blood started trickling down her ear. I, of course freaked out and yelled for Mark. We figured out she had scratched her ear with her finger nail. Her nails must have been pretty sharp because it was a bleeder! Mark had the great idea of putting toilet paper on it to make it stop bleeding! Like father like daughter..................she's going to kill you for this one some day Mark!!!
