It's all about the hair!

Madison is finally getting to the point where she will let us put her hair in a pony. She usually throughs a fit, but is getting better. I mentioned this at work and my fellow co-workers and they had to remind me who is boss! haha!!

Mark's Birthday Party

On Saturday I had a birthday party for Mark. The day went great and the weather held out. All in all, I would say it was a success!!

Story Time

The last three Friday's I have been taking Madison to the Library for "Story Time." The first class we went to, we were the only ones for the first 15 minutes of a half and hour class. So need less to say she did pretty well because the whole class was about her!! We read books about farm animals and for a craft she made a barn with a chicken. I don't know how she manages to get everything straight and in order?? She must be gifted....

Second class didn't go as well. She wanted to walk around the room and not listen to a word. She really likes the mat they sit on to listen to the librarian read. Her favorite part of the class is at the end when they turn on the bubble machine.

Craft of the day was a flower.

We are starting to get quit a fridge collection!!

And this week Madison did great!! I was going to give her one more try since the second week didn't go so well........and well, Madison met her match!! There was a little boy there her age that was just as hyper and talkative as she is. He was running the show. Even Madison looked at me and acted like, "who does he think he is?"

I finally wasn't the mom who couldn't control her child!

At this past class we read books about food and made a pizza with a lunch box. Madison must have been hungry for breakfast. Too cute!!

Madison's new "pet".

This poor dog has never seen so much action. Madison's new "pet" came from my Grandmother's house who passed away in December. My Grandma had this dog displayed in her living room with outfits she had made for him to wear. As you can see he is sporting his Easter outfit for the upcoming season! My Mom brought him over as a gift to Madison a couple of weekends ago and she has not put him down. She gives him kisses and drags him around like a doll. She loves dogs!!

She thought of putting the sun glasses on him all by herself! She feeds him her snacks as well.

I think we might have to cave and get a real dog some day.......or not!!

Busy busy!

I've got lots of catching up to do! Last weekend the Keller family headed to Newton for the first time since Christmas! I know......I think we hit a record!! Since it had been a long 2 months we had lots of people to visit. I think it wore us all out because Madison got her first "bad notes" from day care and Mark and I were bumps on a log every evening. I didn't even want to blog! We have all caught up on our sleep and had a great weekend this weekend! And Madison is back to her sweet self.

Last Sunday we met baby Elana for the first time. She is the newest Keller cousin, or I guess was. Mark's cousin Ryan and his wife just had a baby boy. Christmas this year should be lots of fun! Here are Mark and his cousin Jason with their girls!! It was really hard to get a photo with everyone looking!But this one is my favorite!!! I think everyone had had enough of the camera!!

You forget how little they are when babies are first born! Madison was really good with baby Elana, and gave her lots of kisses. Thank you Aunt Janice and Uncle Dale for a great visit and a great meal!!


On Friday when we got into Newton we stopped by the Schumacher household so we could see how much the twins have changed. And man how they have changed!!

The two adorable Keller cousin girls! We were comparing how many roles Madison had up on Grace.......oh wait a minute, I don't think Madison has ever had a role in her life! What a peanut!

On Saturday Madison, my Mom and I went to a baby shower for my cousin Derek and his wife Kasey. Madison had fun playing with her second cousin Suri. It was a weekend full of playing with cousins!!
