I never thought I would own a Ford....

I never though I would own a Ford because I was always raised a Chevy girl.....but I love my 07 Ford Edge!!!! Mark and I bought it Wednesday night. He finally broke down after six months of me begging to get a new car!! I guess it paid off!! Mark told me to be patient and he was right. It has everything and more we were looking for. I know I always give Mark a hard time for being such a tight ass but I really do love him for it!! If it were up to me we would buy everything in sight and we would not be able to afford nice things!! Thank you for being such a great husband and father!! I love you!!!....and my new car!!!

It wouldn't be a post without Miss Madison......Lindsey and I went to Babies R Us on Friday (I love that store and spend way to much money there by the way) and I found this paci holder that looks like a flower with a stem!! I had been looking for it since Christmas because Mark's cousin's wife, Stacia, had mentioned that her sister had bought one. I think she looks so cute! Mark keeps asking, "What's next"?

And I have to save the best for last....I got up Saturday morning to feed Madison and found this blow out! And I'm talking explosion!!!! I had to call Mark for backup!! I love her face.....she's like.....did I do that?

4 months old!!

Yesterday Madison was 4 months old! I can't believe how time flies! She is grabbing objects with both hands, sitting up by herself for a couple of seconds before she starts to tumble, kicking her leg over to start to roll over, babbling a lot, and putting anything possible in her mouth. Her new thing is sticking her whole fist in her mouth to the point she gags!! I guess it taste good!

Since I missed her 3 month pictures so I took her to Portrait Innovations in Fairview Heights to get her 4 months taken. We haven't been home in a while, and I had heard good things about this place. I think they did a great job, but nothing like Photo Graphics!

Splish-splash I was taking a bath.....

We gave Madison a bath tonight and I suggested we take the "hammock thing" (I really don't know what it is called) out of her tub and let her sit in the water. She definitely figured out how to kick her legs and feet to splash the water! There was water everywhere. We have come along way from her first bath!!

Happy late Valentines Day!

This was one of Madison's Valentine's outfits! She wore this to Miss Ruth's for daycare. She had the bow out of her hair before I even dropped her off!

When I picked Madison up from day care Miss Ruth had made a Valentine for Mark and I from Madison and gave us a stuffed puppy dog! Thanks Madison!!

I kinda went shopping for Madison for Valentines day......she got a big bow headband, a cute onesies that says, "Miss October", a shirt and bloomers with her initials.....

and my favorite gift, but apparently not Madison's, a cap with a big flower in it! It's so cute....but she doesn't look enthused. Mark said she looks like she should be in a 50's movie!!

This is Madison's second Valentine's Day outfit. Thanks Grandma Vickie!!! It was a hit at the wedding.

Madison got Daddy a Garmin for Valentine's Day. We never have to ask for directions again!!! I think he really liked it because he used it three times yesterday!

We went to a friends wedding yesterday as well. Nate and Andrea Hartley, friends from college. I regret not getting a very good picture of them......her dress was beautiful! But here is some pictures of some of our friends.......as you can tell Madison was a hit!! I honestly had not seen some of these girls for two years.......man how time flies!!

Our friend Aaron rocked Madison to sleep. He's going to be such a good daddy, or he was trying to impress the ladies! I think he even impressed his parents because they had to come over and take a family picture with her! His mom said she may never get Grand kids! But I think she will!

Mark combed Madison's hair in a mohawk today! Can't you tell we have to much fun with her!

I don't want to jinx it but.......

I don't want to jinx it but Madison has been sleeping through the night!! The past three nights have been a solid nine hours of sleep for everyone!! It has been great!!! We have waited a long 15 weeks for this. Even though every parent has told us we will not sleep through the night till she turns.........well never!! I really think getting her into a routine has helped a lot. It got a little messed up when she got sick, but after that we really have stuck with it. I guess it is finally paying off!!! But now since I have told the whole world.....I'm sure I have jinxed it!

Tonight was the first time Madison actually held her head up for quit a while and did not get mad or frustrated. I grabbed the camera and of course took a lot of pictures of her!

This past week has flown....it's been a while since I've posted!

I had to go Effingam all day on Saturday so Mark got Madison all to himself. I think Mark likes to take as many pictures as I do, because there was tons of new ones on the camera when I got home. Madison in her "big girl" chair as Kelly would say!
I think she likes it as much as Mallory!!

Also to my surprise, Mark had the door jumper set up as well. He waited till I got home to see how Madison would do in it. I think the jumper was a little premature because she there was not much jumping going on!!!
Madison did have another blow out after I got home as well and we had to put on the leg warmers thanks to Jason and Stacia!

They were too cute and a little tight with her chunky thighs! Mark asked, "What are these?"
