So much to catch up on......

It has been an extremely long time since I have posted. So this is going to be a long one!! Two weekends ago was my future sister-in-law Sarah's bridal shower. It really was a beautiful shower and she got many nice things!

This past weekend we got Madison's 6 month pictures taken by a co-workers husband that is trying to start his own business. I think they turned out great! His website is......

Afterward we went out to eat for the second time since Madison was born! I know, I know, we get her out a lot! She loved the paper they had on the table......it kept her entertained any way!


On Sunday we headed to Goreville to meet my friend Allison's new baby, Larkin Hasler! She is a doll! Mark said this picture is what we are going to look like in a couple of years! So true!

Then guess what news I woke up to Tuesday morning!!!

Allie Marie Hermann is so cute! I think she too looks like her daddy Jason!

This picture reminds me of Madison in the hospital! I do have to admit, it kinda gave me baby fever again!! I'm so excited about all of Madison's new friends! And that I'm not the only parent out of all my friends!

As some of you may know my Dad was in an accident last Wednesday, April 22nd. He rolled over his Razor on top of him. Dad broke his shoulder, collar bone, and a rib, plus a few staples in his head. As my Grandma Kuhl said, "He did a pretty stupid stunt!" He had a doctor appointment in St. Louis today and him and Wendy decided to stop by. I'm glad they did! But bad news......he has to have surgery done tomorrow at 1:45p.m. on his shoulder. It is an out patient procedure and will last about two hours. Keep him in your thoughts and prayer! I swear him and my brother follow in each other's foot steps when it comes to injuries!

Last but not least, Madison cut her first tooth today.....well maybe yesterday......or the day before.....we don't know because Miss Ruth, Madison's babysitter, found it today! I feel like the worst mom ever! But hey, at least she finally cut one!....a tooth that is!!

She is adorable.....I don't want to give out to much info because I'm sure Allison wants to introduce her to the blogging world!! I can't to read all about it!!

Also kind of a side note to Allison's blog from yesterday........she had a picture of Michael with all the mushrooms they had found and it made me think to look in our back yard! I know, who has mushrooms (and the good kind I might add) in there back yard in town!! It was the funniest thing last year.....my step dad was walking in our back yard and said, "I think you have mushrooms out there!" So when I saw Allison's blog it made me think to look in the back yard! Mark and I found 31!!! Not bad for going only a couple of yards and looking for about 10 minutes!!

I'm thankful for my friends.......

Since Easter is about rebirth, I wanted to give a shout out to some of my friends who have exciting things going on in there life right now!

About three to four weeks ago I got a call from my friend Stephanie. She rarely calls so when I saw her name come up on my caller ID I was sure to answer. Stephanie being the modest person she is asked how my family and how miss Madison was doing. Just when I thought the conversation was over Stephanie announced to my surprise that she was engaged!! And if that wasn't a surprise enough she is getting married July 25 of this year!! The wedding is low key..........just like Steph!! I have never heard such excitement and joy in her voice. Stephanie......I'm so happy for you and Jimmy!!! Mark, Madison, and I all can't wait to meet him!

Next is my friend Toni. She is such a talented singer and performer she just got excepted to North Western University in Chicago. It really is her dream to perform on a grand stage some day belting out her opera!! If you have had the opportunity to hear her you know what I mean!! She really is GREAT!! I am so proud of her for going for it!!! But sad to see her and her husband move to Chicago. But hey, all the reason to go visit the windy city!!! Congrats Toni!

Up next is my friend Allison who is due to have her baby TODAY!!! I think she is patiently waiting to be a mother. I know you all enjoy her dramatic story telling on her blog "Hasler Happenings". I secretly enjoy them myself. I love how she doesn't mind showing off her belly! I know your going to be a great mother Allison!!

Last but not least is my friend Lindsey. She is due in about three weeks on May 4th. I can't wait to enjoy the many play dates and stroller rides with Baby Hermann.

I also want everyone to keep in their prayers an old friend of mine Sarah Gibbins (Welker). Her brother passed away yesterday. We are all thinking of you Sarah.

Palm Sunday.....The Easter Bunny is Coming Soon!

Today we went to church for Palm Sunday. Madison did great in church. She loves her palms! We seen Mark's cousin Eric Mammoser in church as well. He had a very attractive girl with him......I'm not sure if it was his girlfriend.......so we won't assume!

Madison also loves her fingers!! She rolled over the first time this past week. She wasn't to happy about it! She cried and cried......but she did it! She hasn't done it since though! Mark wasn't here to see it and was a very disappointed papa!

Mark put our jogging stroller together this weekend and we thought we would try it out today! It was a little more windy then we thought, so we just went to the trail by our house and back. I ran to the end of the road and thought I was going to die!! I got to thinking, it has been over a year since I have ran! That is pathetic!! My friend Allison has ran more than I and she is nine months pregnant! She is just about ready to go any day now!! I know she is going to do great! Any way.....the stroller is awesome!! I'm so glad we registered for one! It is so light and easy to maneuver! Thank you Keller Aunts and Cousins!!!

Mark and I planted these tulips when I was nine months pregnant and extremely swollen! I remember it was one of the last things I wanted to get done before the "baby" came. Basically Mark did all the work, I just told him where to put them!! They have all came up and are very pretty in the back yard!! I think Madison enjoys the colors! I can't wait to plant the rest of my flowers!!
