Madison's favorite things of spring.....

Since the weather has finally been nice, Madison has been enjoying playing outside along with some other activities. She received a t-ball set for Christmas from Pa Pa and Grandpa Kuhl. She has really showed interest in playing and Mark has really enjoyed teaching her how to swing and hit the ball. She is getting pretty good and loves playing "ball" with Daddy! Future Albert Pujols.....as Daddy would say!!

Poor Grantie gets Madison's old pink swing, but I don't think he minds. I have to put him in pink now before he knows the difference!

The competition has already started!! She always has to be swinging higher than Grant.

Madison has been a big helper this year with planting the flowers and watering them. It is our nightly ritual to water the flowers.

Madison is not afraid to get her hands dirty. But I did find her some pretty sweet gardening gloves, and they're pink!!!

And last but not least, she likes to "feed" her baby just like Mommy "feeds" Grant!

She came up with this one all on her own!! My neck has been killing me at night rocking Grant to sleep, so I got my travel pillow out of the car. The other day I was trying to get Grant down for his nap and Madison came in the room to ask if she could play with it. I said, "sure." I walked out into the living room after getting Grant down to find Madison on the couch using my neck pillow as a boppy!!! Shirt up and baby latched on!! Too funny!! I told her she is going to be a good mommy! Mark said she is problem solver!! I also know she is going to kill me some day for sharing this photo!

What a week for Mr. Grant!

Grant had many achievements the second week of May, just one week after turning 4 months old.

He tried cereal for the first time and loved it! Not even a bad face for the camera. He has caught on quick.

Today he only cries when it is gone. Mark even acts like he is still scrapping some out of the bowl to keep him happy.....until he figures out there is nothing in the spoon! I think he is definitely going to be ready for baby food in a month.

Grant also rolled over for the first time in the same week. Mark and I missed it, the one and only night we go out!!! I thought that was a perk of being a stay at home mom, getting to see all of the milestones, and I missed it! Oh well, Uncle Patrick and Aunt Sarah got to witness Grants big achievement without even realizing it!! I knew I should have told them he was so close. It was also Grants first night away from Mommy and Daddy, and well, I guess he didn't due so hot! I had a feeling it was going to go that way. The poor boy just loves him mama and not the bottle. It really is pathetic how fast his cry turns into a smile when he sees me. But deep down I really love it!!

I love having our new camera with "sports" mode! I know....I am a crazy mom!

And last but not least, Grant got his two bottom teeth! It is extremely hard getting a picture of his little teethers, so I had to help him out. He just looks like, "Mom, what are you doing?"

Wow!! What a big week for Mr. Grantie!! We can't wait to see what you do next!

Happy Mother's Day!

My mother's day this year was wonderful thanks to my great husband and kiddos!! We all enjoyed the warm spring day at Forest Park and Mark packed a picnic for us. As Madison would say, "just like Minnie." Not only did I get a wonderful day with my family, I also received a necklace with the kids names on it and a date with Kenny Chesney!! Well.....ok.....Mark will be there too! We get to see him in concert in July. I can't wait! I love Kenny!!

Madison enjoyed blowing bubbles. She has finally learned how to blow bubbles correctly! No more soap in the mouth!

Thank you so much Mark for making my mother's day one I will never forget! I love you!!! And to my mother for my shopping spree!! My wardrobe really needed some updating!

What a cutie!

Grant had his 3 month pictures taken at the beginning of April, but it's never to late to show off my little man! Grant was in a great mood. I am super pleased with the results!

Easter time fun!

The Keller family had lots of Easter fun this year! We started the fun a week early with the Lindley side. The Easter bunny made a surprise appearance at Grandpa and Grandma Lindley's house just before the big egg and scavenger hunt. The kids all loved it.....and the parents too!!
The Easter bunny received lots of attention! The kiddos were in awe!

Madison didn't quit know what to think of him up close! To bad Grant was taking a nap......he woke up just as the bunny was hopping away. Maybe he will meet the Easter bunny next year!

Madison really understood egg hunting this year. She had so many eggs in her basket they kept falling out as she walked!

Mine Mom?

More goodies from Grandpa and Grandma Lindley! My Mom and Gary really went above and beyond this year to keep the spirit of my Grandma Lindley alive. Every year my Grandma Lindley did a wonderful scavenger hunt for everyone. It was always so much fun!! And this year I know she would have be very proud!!!

Easter weekend the Easter bunny made a stop at Grandpa and Grandma Kuhl's home.

Once again the Easter bunny was very generous to her!

Madison and Grandpa had an egg hunt inside because the weather was not cooperating. She would find one egg at a time, shake it, and then say.....there's money in there! She hit the jackpot!

Next bunny stop was Grandpa and Grandma Kellers.

All the Keller cousins opening up their baskets of goodies. I didn't do a very good job of getting a picture of all the Keller cousins this year......considering there is 3 toddlers, 2 newborns......and a new one on the way!! That's right!!!!! Patrick and Sarah announced they are expecting at the end of November!! It was very exciting news!! 2011 must be the year to have babies because every single brother and sister Mark and I have are having/had babies this year.....including us!! That makes 3 Keller grandkids in one year! WOW!!! Grandma and Grandpa Keller are going to need a bigger house and six more arms!!


Easter day was wonderful as well. We went to church at St. Thomas. Mark nor I had ever been in the new church yet. It was beautiful and very full. Madison did great, but Grant got a little fussy. They were complete opposites when we got home. Needless to say I didn't get very many good pictures of Madison with her basket this year........

......but Grant was loving it!!

At least we got one!!The Easter bunny brought Madison a hide and seek bunny. She is really getting into playing hide and seek. She loved it!!

Me and my little man on Easter day!! I am never in pictures! My goal for mothers day is to get a picture with both me and my kiddos......it sounds so simple......right?

Thank you to everyone who made our Easter weekends so special. It was great seeing family and friends we had not seen in a while! And Grant got to met many new family members!!
