The kids have had a lot of fun this summer playing in the sprinkler and water hose. It was a good way to be able to play outside and cool off from the hot days. There for a while I felt like we were getting cabin fever from never getting to go outside because of the heat!

When Dad got home we put the sprinkler away and just used the hose.
Grant and Madison thought that was just GREAT idea!

We finally just took the swim trunks off!
Madison said she was a little cold, but she had to be! They were not in the sun and the water out of the hose was freezing!! Grant didn't seem to mind.
By the end of the water fun, the kids were both drinking out of the hose. Once again, our neighbors have to think we are red necks!! Grant's only in a swim diaper and the kids are lapping up the water like dogs!
Must be some good water!

What a fun summer evening with the kiddos!!
Until we got the water bill for the month of July......it more than doubled!! But well worth it!
Cheap entertainment on a hot day except for the water bill but worth it. They should have been in our garden while I watered it this summer maybe a tad muddy. Love you Peanut and Grant'o Love Grandapa and Grandma Kuhl
ReplyDeleteThis hot summer, anything goes to keep cool and beat the heat! When you move back this way...no one will think anything about your kids running around in underwear and drinking from the water hose...they will be just like Grandma and Poppy!!!
