um......chocolate!

Madison helped me make a chocolate pudding pie the other night so I let her lick the spatula. I think she likes chocolate...........but what girl doesn't?

Mark left for Indy today to watch the Brickyard 400. I'm not sure he is going to survive 2 whole days without Miss Madison, especially since she just started saying da-da!! But I'm ready for our girls weekend!!

It really was a great weekend staying in Edwardsville for once. It seems like we have traveling non stop this summer! It started off on Friday night by Mark taking me out on a date. And yes without Madison, even though her name was brought up a lot. Her Uncle Patrick and Aunt Sarah did a great job of watching her! We went and ate on The Hill in St. Louis at a restaurant called Zia's. It was great italian food. Then we headed to the Schlafly Tap Room for some beers. Oddly enough they had a beer called "Keller", and of course we had to try it. We then decided to gamble a little, but on the way to Lumiere the traffic had picked up and we realized the Cardinal game had let out and we figured it would take forever to get a table. So we just decided to head home and pick up our little girl.

On Saturday we took a walk up to the Farmers Market here in Edwardsville. We hadn't been all year and decided a watermelon was a good choice. We finally cut it up tonight and it was pretty good. Then Saturday afternoon we took Madison for a ride on the bike. She really enjoyed it, but the helmet not so much! She got use to it after a while. We had to keep stopping to pull the helmet up over her eyes. We have got some adjusting to do!

On Sunday we went to the Cardinals game. It really was a lot of fun and Madison did great! I was a little disappointed Madison didn't get to meet Fred Bird. Oh well, there's always next time!! Thanks mom for the tickets. The seats were great and they won!!

We bought Madison ice cream in a souvenir cup. That kept her busy for a while! And she loved having ice cream for the first time.

Happy 50th Birthday Mom!

Saturday July 11th was my mom's 50th birthday. On Friday Josh and I had a surprise birthday party for her at the KC Hall. I think she was surprised and had a lot of fun!!!

Happy 5o years young Mom!!!

You have accomplished a lot in 50 years......I would have to say, two beautiful kids!!!

You look great and we are very proud of you.

Happy 4th of July

Madison was geared up for 4th of July in her cute little outfit and bow. She is such a ham! Do you think she has ever seen a camera before? The weather wasn't so plesant for the 4th this year with all the rain. It just didn't seem right with no sunshine and hot weather. The Keller family didn't even get to see fireworks this year...................that's another story! Oh well! I guess Madison will have to wait till next year!

We did go to our friends Jason and Laura Pitcher's on the 4th. They have a son that is 8 days older than Madison. She was so excited when we sat her next to him. She was grabbing and giving kisses. Good thing Jarrett can crawl because he wanted nothing to do with her.

We also visited the Schumacher babies over the weekend. I still can't imagine having two! I guess it would be twice the fun!!!

This is a long awaited post!!!!

Mother and babies are doing well! Brian and Sarah were blessed with a girl and a boy today at 1:30 p.m.!!!!!! We did not get a chance to hold the babies today due to them being under a warmer. But we should did smudge up the glass in the nursery!! My camera did not take very good pictures through the glass, but good thing I remembered the video camera!!
